DESCRIPTION:Former Chief of Protocol and Former Senior Foreign Service Officer Alice Thomas-Roberts will host a one day workshop titled Protocol for Planning\, Hosting  and Working at Official Events ©.  This workshop is scheduled for Saturday June 6th 2026\, from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. It will be a day chock-full of information\, real life scenarios and practical exercises. \nWho should attend: those who organise or work at official events to which Government dignitaries and officials\, diplomats\, senior executives and representatives of organisations are expected to be in attendance. \nModules of the workshop: Preparing formal Invitations\, Understanding Titles and Honours\, Ordering Your Agenda\, Understanding Precedence for Seating and Addressing Audiences\, Preparing Seating Plans\,  Meeting\, Greeting & Seating Guests\, the Role of Masters of Ceremonies\, and handling  other details which are critical to the smooth execution of official events. Participants will be engaged in planning simulated events and other practical exercises. \nIf you plan or work at national\, community or church events\, this workshop is for you. Invest in yourself\, and feel the confidence of understanding what to do\, how to do it and why it’s done when planning for or working at official events. \nParticipants will leave this workshop feeling more confident of their roles as Event Planners and Workers. \nThe cost for this workshop is EC $360 per person.
