DESCRIPTION:‘Protocol for Planning\, Hosting and Working at Official Events’© \nFormer Chief of Protocol and Senior Foreign Service Officer\, Alice Thomas-Roberts will host an online course titled ‘Protocol for Planning\, Hosting and Working at Official Events’©  every Tuesday evening of October\, 2026 (6th\, 13th\, 20th & 27th) from 5:30 p.m – 7:00 p.m AST. \nThis course is designed to provide tips and guidelines to those who organise or work at official ceremonies to which Government dignitaries\, diplomats\, senior company executives and representatives of organisations are expected to be in attendance. Sessions will include understanding appropriate courtesies\, mastering introductions\, ordering the agenda\, preparing formal invitations\, understanding Precedence for seating and addressing audiences\, preparing seating plans for different seating configurations\,  working with team members such as Ushers\, Masters of Ceremonies and logistical workers\, and other necessary “dos and don’ts” for official events. \nThis course is packed with information\, real life examples\, discussion and group work. If you’re an event organiser or other event worker\, you won’t want to miss this course. \nParticipants will end this course feeling more confident of their roles as event organisers and workers\, knowing what to do\, how to do it and why it’s done. \nThe cost for this course is US $100 per person\, and there is an early bird discount of US $20 if registration and payment are completed by 22nd September 2026.
