DESCRIPTION:Announcing another dining etiquette seminar: The Art of Fine Dining © – a dining etiquette seminar with International Courtesies. This seminar is scheduled for Saturday 4th March\, 2023 from 11:00 a.m – 2:00 p.m. \nAttending this seminar is always a fun learning experience for attendees. If you missed the last one\, you won’t want to miss this one\, so register early\, as again\, space is limited. \nThe seminar will help those who expect to dine out formally\, attend or host business meals\, travel for meetings and conferences abroad\, or just want to know the dos and don’ts of formal dining\, including international courtesies. Alice Thomas-Roberts\, former senior Foreign Service Officer and Chief of Protocol will provide guidance through a tutored meal on acceptable etiquette from the moment of arrival at a restaurant or someone’s home\, to the time of departure. \nThe seminar will help diners feel comfortable and confident at a fine dining event while displaying acceptable etiquette. \nSeminar subtopics include: Before you begin to eat\, Your personal items\, Understanding your place setting\,  Holding & using eating & drinking utensils\, including chopsticks\, Using your napkin\,  Serving yourself\, Eating bread & spooning soup\, Passing condiments & other items\,  Toasting and conversations with other diners\, Relating to waiters\,  The best time for discussing business\, Dining dos and don’ts from other cultures. \nThe cost of this seminar and three course meal is EC $200 per person. Persons wishing to attend must register in advance.
