SUMMARY:CTO BPED Module 1 – Understanding Our Customers & Markets (Session 2)
DESCRIPTION:Hospitality Assured Business Advisor with the Caribbean Tourism Organisation\, Alice Thomas-Roberts will host Module 1 of the CTO’s Business and Professional Excellence Development series in two online sessions on 9th and 11 September\, from 10:00 a.m – 12:00 Noon. \nThese two sessions will focus on topics such as Understanding Our Customers\, Enhancing our Competitiveness\, Marketing for Success and Enhancing Customer Loyalty. These sessions aim to strengthen the international competitiveness of Grenada’s Tourism businesses by helping employees to identify their target markets and customers\, as well as to develop strategies and techniques used for customer research and in marketing.  Staff in attendance should preferably be senior staff who are able to pass on guidelines and principles learned to other staff. \nCost per module is EC $100 per person. This will cover the two sessions of the module. All participants are expected to be actively involved. DESCRIPTION:Hospitality Assured Business Advisor with the Caribbean Tourism Organisation\, Alice Thomas-Roberts will host Module 2 of the CTO’s Business and Professional Excellence Development series in two online sessions on 9th and 11 September\, from 3:00 p.m – 5:00 p.m. \nSub-topics of these two sessions are Quality Management Principles\, Organisational Culture\, Customer Promise and Managing Through Change.  At the end of these sessions\, participants should be able to devise ways to communicate their organisation’s culture including its values\, mission and commitment to business and professional excellence\, lead the organisation in developing its customer promise (if there’s none)\, be able to document and communicate its commitment to service excellence\, and manage change that incorporates market trends and customer feedback into the business’ operations. \nThe aim of these two sessions is to help hospitality businesses strengthen their international competitiveness by ensuring  employees understand their organisation’s values\, mission and customer promise and value how these can be incorporated into their commitment to service excellence. \nStaff in attendance should preferably be middle to senior level Management who are able to pass on the guidelines and strategies learned to other staff. \nCost per module is EC $100 per person.
