SUMMARY:CTO BPED Module 6 - Employee Engagement and Learning
DESCRIPTION:Hospitality Assured Business Advisor with the Caribbean Tourism Organisation\, Alice Thomas-Roberts will host Module 6 of the CTO’s Business and Professional Excellence Development series in two online sessions on 30th September and 2nd October\, from 10:00 a.m – 12:00 p.m. \nThese two sessions will include the following sub-topics: Value of Employee Engagement\, Employee Performance and Company Profitability\, Promoting Change Through Learning\, Training and Development\, Responsibilities and Skills of Effective Leadership and Employee Rewards and Recognition. \nAfter participating in this module\, participants will be able to equip their people with the skills and knowledge to provide service excellence\, identify ways of promoting learning and development required to change and improve individual and team performance\, evaluate the effectiveness of training and development activities\, understand various approaches to reward and recognise excellent performance\, and be able to encourage and empower people using collaboration\, innovation and improvement. \nStaff in attendance should preferably be at middle and senior management levels in positions of influence\, able to provide guidance to employees and lead by example. \nCost per module is EC $100 per person. This will cover the two sessions of the module. All participants are expected to be actively involved.
