Teen Etiquette and Social Skills Workshop
Hello Parents
The summer vacation is just around the corner and some of you are already wondering what to do with your teenagers. You would like them to spend their time wisely and productively. You would like good clean fun, and still some learning in and between.
Alice Thomas-Roberts has just the occasion for teens this summer: a one week workshop on Teen Etiquette and Social Skills. This workshop, which caters for teens ages 13 – 17, will be held at the Berean Christian Academy on Upper Lucas Street, St. George’s from Monday 16 – Friday 20 July, starting at 9:00 a.m and ending at 12:30 p.m each day. The cost per teen is EC $150.
What a great way for them to start their vacation! This programme is designed specifically for this age group. It is meant to be a fun learning experience, highly interactive, with sessions on Courtesies for Every Day Life, Digital Manners, Conversation Skills, Gestures and Body Language, Appearance, Image and Attire, Managing Time, Poise, Confidence and Self Esteem, Individualism and Peer Pressure, Team Spirit and Inclusiveness and Dining Out.
In a world where there are so many negatives, Teens with good manners will stand out, command more respect, and will be the first ones to be recommended by their teachers and others in positions of influence in their communities, and naturally they will be the ones who will do well socially and academically.
Activities will include mini presentations, role plays, outings, and appropriate videos to watch and evaluate. Consider investing in your child’s future this vacation.
